[Thailand, 28 October 2020] – Brother Industries, Ltd., a parent company of Brother Commercial (Thailand) Ltd., one of the leading global manufacturer of laser and inkjet printing devices, has won a Japanese design award “Good Design Award 2020” (hereinafter Good Design Award) for three of its latest products.
Brother has received a total of 214 Good Design Awards, including for three products this year, since it first won the award for its home sewing machine in 1960. This marks the 28th year in a row, since 1993, that Brother has received this award.
Mr. Na-ake Songsiri, Deputy General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Brother Commercial (Thailand) Ltd., said “The Good Design Award does not just recognize products with exceptional appearance and function. Selection of products and services is also based on whether they provide value to consumers and society as well. The award recognizes the collective efforts of everyone involved with the particular product or service.
“One of the Good Design Awards that Brother received in 2020 was for the P-TOUCH CUBE PT-P910BT label maker, which received the Good Design Best 100 award as one of the 100 products or services most highly evaluated by the screening panel. Recipients of the Good Design Best 100 award are also candidates for the Good Design Grand Award, the highest award, Gold Award and other Special Awards.
