A key strategic move has been the acquisition of Domino, a global leader in industrial printing technologies. This acquisition strengthens our B2B portfolio to better serve modern manufacturing needs, which demand speed, high quality, and environmental responsibility. Our goal is to become the leading provider of end-to-end printing solutions in the industrial segment. We are proud to formally introduce the Domino brand at Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025 – the region’s premier exhibition for label and packaging printing technology, bringing together top-tier clients and industry partners. Our primary focus is on key industries including food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, logistics, packaging, and chemicals, with high-performance solutions that support real-time variable data printing, enhancing production efficiency while reducing costs and minimizing waste.”
“In 2025, Domino will serve as one of the key highlights in Brother’s B2B product portfolio, which continues to be a high-potential segment aligned with the ongoing expansion of Thailand’s printing and packaging industries,”. “With sustained demand across industrial sectors, the introduction of Domino significantly strengthens our capabilities and will be instrumental in driving our targeted B2B revenue growth this year. To support this, Brother has prepared a comprehensive after-sales service strategy, including the establishment of a dedicated service team, specialized technician training, and a reinforced supply system for consumables. These efforts aim to deliver maximum confidence and satisfaction to industrial clients, while enhancing their long-term competitiveness—true to our philosophy of being ‘At your side’, as we grow alongside our partners in every sector.” Mr. Kittipong added

David Ellen, Divisional Director - DP Business at Domino US, stated, “The global digital printing industry continues to see strong growth, driven by increasing demand for product personalization and the shift toward digital transformation across various sectors. The Asia-Pacific region stands out as the fastest-growing market in the world, fueled by rising consumer demand for both FMCG products and customized goods. As a result, the digital label printing segment is rapidly expanding in this region. Domino places great emphasis on business expansion in Asia-Pacific, and Thailand is a key part of this strategy. For the Thai market, Domino is making significant strides under the leadership of Brother, a recognized expert in integrated printing solutions. Together, we are introducing innovative products and tailored solutions to meet the needs of local manufacturers. Most recently, we launched the Domino N730i, a state-of-the-art digital UV inkjet label press, featuring a new print mode unveiled for the first time in Thailand and Southeast Asia at Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2025. The machine brings with it a host of advanced features and benefits, including the following”
- Ultra-high-resolution printing at 1200dpi with Domino’s advanced Brother BITSTAR printhead technology delivers razor-sharp images, fine text, barcodes, QR codes, and high-resolution graphics across a wide range of substrates, all while maintaining consistent quality even during high-volume production runs.
- Support for Variable Data Printing (VDP) allows real-time printing of item-specific information—such as lot numbers, production dates, expiry dates, serial numbers, barcodes, and QR codes—in a single pass. This streamlines the labelling process and significantly enhances production efficiency.
- New high-speed productivity mode boosts throughput with a maximum print speed of 90m/min while maintaining 1200 dpi resolution. This innovation increases label output by up to 28%, reduces production time by up to 22%, with an annual ink cost saving of up to 8%.
- Intelligent R-Scan monitoring and inspection system monitors print quality in real-time during operation. It automatically detects color inconsistencies, missing characters, and image misalignment. If an error is detected, the system halts the printing process and issues an immediate alert to the operator.
- UV Cure ink technology ensures instant drying post-print, producing vibrant, crisp prints that are highly resistant to scratching, moisture, and chemicals—ideal for labels applied to products exposed to water or harsh environments.
In addition, Brother is showcasing the Domino K300 monochrome inkjet printer at the event—an advanced high-speed variable data printing solution tailored to meet the demands of modern manufacturing. With a maximum resolution of 600 dpi and speeds of up to 250m/min, the K300 delivers sharp, accurate prints on a wide variety of coated and uncoated substrates. It is purpose-built for printing critical information such as expiry dates, batch codes, serial numbers, and 2D codes like QR codes and Data Matrix codes, where precision and speed are paramount. The printer is designed for seamless integration into production lines, making it ideal for short-run printing, reducing the need for pre-printed packaging, and offering the agility to switch between production lines quickly. The compact printhead is available in widths of 54.1 mm or an extended 108.2 mm to suit different production needs. It also features Printer Sleep Mode, enabling the system to warm up and be ready for operation in just one minute, and the QuickStepK interface for intuitive control and configuration—ensuring simple, efficient operation across a wide range of applications.
