Bangkok, 23 January 2026 — Brother, the Japanese leader in printing solutions, has announced the historic success of its annual charity running event, Brother Beat Cancer Run 2026, which was held for the 12th consecutive year at Rama VIII Bridge. This year marked a new milestone, with record-breaking participation and fundraising figures reaching 1,934,485 baht — the highest total in the event’s history. The entire amount, with no deductions for expenses, will be donated to the Ramathibodi Foundation – Adult Haematologic Cancer Fund, Ramathibodi Hospital, to help underprivileged cancer patients gain access to ongoing treatment opportunities.

Mr. Teerawut Supapunpinyo, Managing Director of Brother Commercial (Thailand) Limited,. stated, “The success of Brother Beat Cancer Run 2026 clearly reflects the tremendous spirit of cooperation among Thai people who are ready to ‘run together, fight together’ for cancer patients. This year, donations reached 1,934,485 baht — a figure that creates a powerful social impact and aligns with Brother Japan’s global Golden Ring Project, while reinforcing our ‘At Your Side’ philosophy. We are not standing beside society only as a technology leader; we are committed to standing alongside Thai communities to help create a better quality of life in a sustainable way.”

Mr. Kittipong Kanokvilairat, General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Brother Commercial (Thailand) Limited, stated, “One of this year’s standout achievements was our ability to significantly expand participation among younger generations and first-time runners, particularly through the introduction of the new 3-kilometre route, which received an overwhelmingly positive response beyond expectations. Combined with the existing 6-, 12- and 24-kilometre distances, the campaign ‘Brother Beat Cancer Run 2026: Run Together, Fight Together’ successfully attracted participants from multiple generations who were keen to prioritise their health while also contributing to society. The event was further energised by health-focused influencers and well-known artists, including Suriyont ‘Deaw’ Arunwattanakul, Thiranan 'Nueng' Aroonwattanakul, and Nirodha 'Earth Oscar' Ruencharoen, who joined in to add colour and encouragement — reinforcing the campaign’s success in bringing people of all ages together in a meaningful way.”

Mr. Pornpuck Upaisilsataporn, General Manager of Finance and Administration at Brother Commercial (Thailand) Limited, stated, “Over the 12 years that Brother has run the Brother Beat Cancer Run project, we have witnessed a clear growth in public generosity. As a result, cumulative donations since the programme began have now exceeded 18.3 million baht, enabling assistance to be provided to more than 1,106 underprivileged haematology cancer patients nationwide. These achievements prove that every step taken by each runner can be transformed into real opportunities for treatment and improved quality of life for patients.”
